Engagement V.

After many setbacks I began to
wonder, if I would ever be able to imitate old soviet photographs. What
was the secret? Can dSLR deliver a picture with crispness, contrast,
grain of soviet analog? They feel so weathered, just like you are
looking through dirty window pane.
Recently, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant revealed the secret and gave
me access to the wisdom of ancient Masters. Only for a second, barely
enough for couple of raw shots.

Turns out you literally have to take the picture through dirty window pane.

New and exciting photographic journey,

my idée

fixe, my opus magnum. The sovietest and the most dead out of all soviet goners. And the cover photo for my dream shall be this shoddy view.

Welcome to Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.
